Built in 1913, the Downtown YMCA is committed to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Our staff have a member's first attitude and their first priority is to see that you feel at home.

The Downtown facility includes:

• Comfortable locker rooms including separate Adult and Family facilities
• Well trained and friendly staff to assist you in all areas
• A full Wellness Area with free weights, cardiovascular and strength equipment
• Three gymnasiums (2 adult courts and 2 youth gyms)
• A 25 meter swimming pool with lap and recreational swimming (Classes offered include swimming lessons and Water Exercise programs)
• Group Exercise classes from traditional Aerobics to kickboxing and Pilates
• Indoor Cycling classes
• Rotary Youth Fitness Center for youth ages 7 to 13
• Personal Fitness Center with cardiovascular and strength equipment
• Three indoor tracks
• Staffed Childwatch and Youth Center Facilities for kids while their parents workout

Child Watch (Nursery) - Ages 6 months to 5 years
The Childwatch is a nursery service for YMCA members' children while their parents are in the facility. There is no charge for this service and it may be used for up to one hour per day.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 8:00am to 1:15pm & 4:20pm to 7:45pm

Tuesday and Thursday - 8:15am to 11:15am

Friday - 8:00am to 1:15pm

Monday through Thursday - 4:20pm to 7:45pm

Saturday - 8:00am to 11:30pm

Youth Activity Center - Ages 6 to 18
The Downtown YMCA Youth Activity Center is a supervised area that features a computer lab, study area, table tennis, pool tables, air hockey, foosball and a lounge area with a big screen TV and VCR. This area is free to all youth members.
